Construction and anatomy of the organ of voice and speech. The organs that are involved in producing the sounds of human speech are: phonatory system, respiratory and Articulation.1. Phonatory system:For the human body larynx performs the following functions:1. inhalation - a part of airway2. defense - to prevent the ingress of foreign bodies into the
respiratory tract, acts as the sphincter during the cough reflex, closes
the airway during swallowing, vomiting3. phonatory - in the larynx thanks to the work formed the vocal sound.
The larynx, the apparatus for producing sound, the body phonatory of a very complex structure chondromyxoid fibro-muscular. It belongs to the upper respiratory tract, from the bottom connected to the trachea, from the top of the throat. Is suspended for the hyoid bone. Larynx cavity is lined with a thin mucosa. The skeleton of cartilage of the larynx creates nine cartilage. We divide them into:even (wedge-shaped).
odd(Thyroid, annual, epiglottis).
The biggest of all is the thyroid cartilage cartilage, together with annular cartilage forms the front wall of the larynx.
It is composed of two symmetrical plates interconnected at an angle of 120 degrees at 90 degrees women and men. Creates haughtiness visible on the neck commonly called Adam's apple.Epiglottis (cartilage nagłośniowa) is built in the shape of a leaf. Closes throat from the lower throat. It connects with the root of the tongue, the location of which has an impact on her work. While emissions is raised upwards and then the larynx is open. Otherwise happens in case of swallowing, the epiglottis tilts towards the rear, and covers the entrance to the larynx.Arranged symmetrically cartilage tinctured take a large share of the mobility of the larynx. It determines the activity of the vocal cords. For laryngeal mobility it is important to also call cartilage (disk, ring and tincture) with joints and ligaments.
My comments :
I found this lesson really helpful because finally I know how is look like all breathe proces and my respiratory system. Also I learnt how diaphragm works and my muscles which are responsible for the work and quality of my voice production.
